WhatsApp messaging has two separate costs: what Nexor charges for the platform, and what Meta charges for delivered messages. This page explains how each works so you can understand your bill.
Exact message rates are set by Meta, not by Nexor. They vary by country and by conversation category, and Meta updates them periodically. Use Meta’s official pricing as the source of truth for current rates.

How pricing works at a glance

  • Nexor platform charges cover access to the platform: message processing and storage, inbox and analytics, flows, AI agents, and functions, plus support.
  • Meta charges are billed directly to your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) for delivered messages, based on conversation category and the recipient’s country.
These are billed independently. Your Nexor plan covers platform services only; Meta fees are paid separately.

Frequently asked questions

Meta uses a per-message pricing model for template messages. As of July 2025, template messages incur a fee that varies by template category (marketing, utility, authentication) and the recipient’s country code. Non-template messages sent inside the 24-hour customer service window remain free.
Meta classifies paid template messages into categories, each priced differently:
  • Marketing — promotions, offers, announcements, and re-engagement.
  • Utility — transactional updates such as order confirmations, receipts, and account notifications.
  • Authentication — one-time passcodes and verification codes.
Service messages (your free-form replies to a customer who messaged you) fall outside template pricing and are free within the 24-hour customer service window.
Meta sets rates per recipient country code, so the same template category can cost different amounts depending on where the recipient is located. The category and the country together determine the price of a paid message.
Non-template messages sent within the 24-hour customer service window are free. This is the window that opens when a customer messages you: while it is open, your agent can reply with free-form (service) messages at no Meta charge. Once the window closes, reaching back out requires a paid template message.
Yes. The Free plan includes 2,000 messages per month, 1 number, and 1 GB of storage. All plans include unlimited API calls and AI agents. Remember that Nexor plan credits cover platform services only — Meta fees still require separate payment.
For questions about message rates, conversation categories, or charges on your WABA, refer to Meta’s official WhatsApp pricing, since those rates are set and billed by Meta.
