The questions

Example

Stark Industries sells industrial equipment and wants to book demos with buyers who are ready.

What we sell and to whom: Industrial equipment for factories.
Result we want: A demo booked with buyers who have budget and a project this quarter.
Leads come from: A web form connected to HubSpot, plus a monthly event list in Excel.
Channels: WhatsApp first, email for follow-ups, calls only if the lead asks.
Jobs (one task each):
  1. Qualification: confirm budget and timing.
  2. Booking: book the demo with a salesperson.
  3. Follow-up: after the demo, agree on the next step.
Information to collect:
  - Company size (required)
  - Project timing (required)
  - Budget range (required)
  - Current equipment (optional)
A good fit is: Budget above the entry tier and a project within 90 days.
Not a fit when: No budget, no project, or asks not to be contacted.
The agent must never: Quote final prices, promise delivery dates, or talk about competitors.
Hand the conversation to a person when: The lead asks for one, complains, or needs a custom integration.
Documents: Product PDFs, the pricing page, and the website.

One agent or several

If your answers describe different teams or identities, such as sales and customer support with different numbers, plan one agent for each. If they describe different steps with the same leads, plan one agent with several tasks. See Agents and tasks.
