Connect Outlook Calendar when a meeting host uses Microsoft for their meeting calendar and the meeting type uses Microsoft Teams. Each host connects their own account while signed in to Nexor.
Outlook Calendar and the weekly availability schedule are separate. After connecting, review Calendars and availability before the host accepts bookings.

Who can connect

The Connect your calendar button is available to workspace Owners, Admins, and Members who host meetings. A Member sees that page as My Calendar. The button connects the Outlook account of the signed-in user. It does not connect a teammate’s account on their behalf.

Connect Outlook Calendar

1

Open Meetings

Open Meetings, or My Calendar if you are a Member.
2

Choose Outlook

Click Connect your calendar, then choose Outlook.
3

Authorize Microsoft access

Nexor opens a Microsoft authorization flow managed through Unipile. Sign in to the account the host uses for meetings and approve the requested access.
4

Wait for finalization

After authorization, Nexor briefly shows Connecting Outlook Calendar… while it finds and saves the connected account. It then returns to Meetings.
5

Review availability

Open My Availability and confirm the weekly schedule and timezone.
The authorization link expires after 10 minutes. If it expires, start again from Meetings.

What the connection allows

For a Nexor booking on the host’s personal Outlook calendar, Nexor can:
  • create the calendar event and invite its attendees
  • request a Microsoft Teams conference for a video meeting
  • update the event when the Nexor meeting is rescheduled
  • delete the event when the Nexor meeting is canceled
  • add guests without duplicating attendees already on the event
Nexor writes the meeting events it manages. It is not a read-only Outlook integration.
Outlook account-status changes can tell Nexor that the connection needs reauthorization. Changes to an event made directly in a personal Outlook calendar are not guaranteed to update the Nexor meeting. Reschedule or cancel Nexor bookings from Nexor.

Check or remove the connection

When Outlook is active, open My Availability to see Outlook, the connected email when available, and Connected since with the connection date. If Microsoft access expires, is revoked, or needs authentication again, Nexor no longer treats that connection as active. Repeat the Outlook authorization flow; when no other calendar is recognized, Meetings shows Connect your calendar. The current Meetings and My Availability screens do not offer a self-service disconnect action. Contact Nexor Support to remove Outlook or switch to Google, and identify the Nexor workspaces that should be affected. Do not assume the removal applies to every account; its scope depends on the removal path used. Outlook events already created by Nexor remain in the calendar after the connection is removed. Nexor keeps the original provider on its meeting record so a later cancellation or reschedule is still routed to Outlook, but removed access can prevent the provider-side change. Review upcoming events before requesting the disconnect and verify any later change in Outlook.

Use Microsoft Teams

Set the meeting type’s video provider to Microsoft Teams and make sure every eligible host has an active Outlook connection. A host with Google does not match a meeting type configured for Microsoft Teams. After Nexor creates the event, it reads the event back to obtain the Teams link. If Microsoft or the calendar provider does not return that link, the calendar event may still be created without a meeting link. The weekly schedule still controls which days and hours can be offered. Connecting Outlook does not create or confirm those hours.

Troubleshooting

Google is already connected

Only one personal provider can be active at a time. Nexor shows: Google Calendar is already connected. Disconnect Google before connecting Outlook. The screen describes the required state but does not currently expose a disconnect action. Contact Nexor Support, then start the Outlook flow again.

Outlook is not available

Outlook connections depend on the integration being enabled in the current Nexor environment. If Nexor reports that the provider is unavailable, contact Nexor Support.

Connecting takes too long

Nexor waits briefly for Unipile to make the new Microsoft account available. If finalization fails, return to Meetings and retry the Outlook connection.

Nexor asks you to reconnect

Microsoft access may have expired, been revoked, or require new authentication. Start the Outlook connection again from Meetings.

No times are offered after connecting

Open My Availability and confirm that at least one day has an active time range, the timezone is correct, and the host is assigned to the meeting type.

Set calendar availability

Configure weekly hours, time off, and the host’s timezone.
