Messenger is an optional feature that Nexor enables on request.
If the Messenger card does not appear under Integrations, contact Nexor Support to request access. If Integrations itself is not available in the navigation, ask an account administrator to complete the setup.

What the connection supports

After the feature is enabled, Nexor can:
  • Connect and manage more than one Facebook Page in the same workspace.
  • Route text from each connected Page’s direct messages to a selected Agent.
  • Send the Agent’s replies as text while Meta’s 24-hour response window is open.
Nexor can reply only within 24 hours of the person’s latest inbound message. If the window closes, the person must send another message before the Agent can reply again.

Before you start

Have the following ready:
  • A Facebook Page. A personal Facebook profile is not the messaging asset connected to Nexor.
  • A Meta login that can grant access to the Page.
  • The Agent that should answer the Page’s Messenger conversations.

Connect Messenger

1

Open Messenger

Go to Integrations → Messenger and select Connect.
2

Continue to Meta

Review the Page requirement, then select Connect Messenger. Nexor redirects the browser to Meta for sign-in and consent.
3

Grant Page access

In Meta, sign in and grant access to the Facebook Page or Pages that should connect to Nexor. When consent finishes, the browser returns to the Messenger integration.
4

Open a Page

If several Pages are connected, select Configure on the one you want to use. Nexor shows the connection status and its active automation.
5

Assign the Agent

Select New automation, keep Direct messages as the trigger, and choose the Agent that should reply. Then select Create automation.
Complete the Messenger assignment from Integrations → Messenger. Messenger does not currently have a channel card in Agent Settings.

Manage Pages and connection status

Use Connect another from the Messenger integration to authorize more Pages. Configure each Page separately so its direct messages reach the intended Agent. When a Page needs attention, open its settings menu:
  • Use Reconnect when Nexor reports that authorization must be renewed.
  • Use Retry connection when the Page connected but message delivery could not be enabled.
  • If the Page is already connected to another Nexor workspace, resolve that connection before trying again.
If Nexor reports that no Facebook Page was granted, repeat the connection with a Meta login that can grant access to at least one Page.

Disconnect a Page

Open Integrations → Messenger, select the Page, open its settings menu, and choose Disconnect. Nexor stops sending and receiving Messenger messages through that Page. The current product does not provide a verified public contract for how existing leads and conversation history are retained after disconnection. Confirm any retention requirement with Nexor Support before disconnecting.
