# Personal profile and preferences

> Update your avatar, contact details, host bio, dashboard language, and light or dark appearance.

Your personal profile controls how Nexor identifies you and, when you host meetings, which contact details can appear in booking communications.

Open your avatar menu and select **Profile**, or go to **Settings → My profile**.

## Set your preferences

| Preference     | Options                | Effect                                                                                             |
| -------------- | ---------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Language** | English or Spanish | Changes the dashboard language for your user. It does not change an Agent's conversation language. |
| **Appearance** | System, Light, or Dark | Controls the dashboard theme for your user. System follows the device preference. |

You can also switch directly between light and dark mode from the avatar menu. Use the Profile page when you want **System**.

## Update your profile

The profile form contains:

* **Avatar**
* **Full Name**, which is required
* **Job Title**
* **Phone Number**
* **Bio**

Changing the avatar saves that image separately. After changing the other fields, choose **Save** and wait for the saved state before leaving the page.

## Write a host bio

When a booking confirmation includes a host profile card, Nexor can use the host's avatar, name, job title, phone, email, and bio.

Each non-empty line in the bio becomes a separate bullet in that card. Use one short specialization per line, for example:

```text theme={null}
Commercial property financing
First-home buyer guidance
Spanish and English consultations
```

<Warning>
  Treat the bio and phone as customer-facing information when you host meetings. Do not place private notes, credentials, or internal-only contact details in these fields.
