# Get team availability

> See who is Active or Away, the leads waiting for a person, the stages that assign leads, and the idle time before automatic Away.

Returns the same lists as the **Team availability** screen: who is Active or Away and why, the leads waiting for a person, and the stages that assign leads. Use it to check why a lead went to someone, or why nobody got it. See [Assign leads only to Active team members](/docs/en/support/assign-only-active-agents.md) for how the rule works.

## Before you start

* MCP keys need `people:read`. Full-access REST keys need nothing else.
* A key that belongs to a person (for example an MCP key) works only for owners and admins. Otherwise it returns 403 `OWNER_OR_ADMIN_REQUIRED`.
* If team availability is not turned on for the account, it returns 403 `TEAM_AVAILABILITY_UNAVAILABLE`.
* It is read-only. Errors return a stable code in `error`. Map the code to your own copy.

## What you get back

| Field | Detail |

| `idle_minutes` | Minutes without using the app before a member goes Away on their own. Default 50. |
| `members` | Every active member (owners, admins and human agents). |
| `waiting_leads` | Leads that entered a stage when nobody in its list was Active and still have no owner. Oldest first, at most 100. |
| `stages` | Stages that assign leads, with `active_only` saying whether they use the rule, and how many people of their list are Active now. |

## Each member

| Field | Detail |
| - | - |
| `availability` | `active` or `away`. New members start `away`. |
| `changed_at` | When the status last changed, in UTC. |
| `changed_by` | `self` (the member), `idle` (set Away after the idle time) or `admin` (an owner or admin). `null` when it never changed. |
| `last_seen_at` | The last time the member used the app, in UTC. `null` means they have not used it since this was turned on. |
| `in_rule_stage` | `true` when the member is in the list of a stage that only assigns to Active members. |
| `open_leads` | Leads assigned to them that are not deleted and not in a final stage. |
| `assigned_today` | Leads assigned to them today, in the account's time zone. |
