# Update a Cloud Function

> This operation lets you update a cloud function for the authenticated Nexor account. This reference documents verified path, query, and top-level JSON body fields, observed response status codes, and top-level response fields. Provider-owned or deeply nested response shapes may remain open.

  **Safety and behavior notes**

  * A successful database update can return HTTP 200 with deploy\_error.
  * Only code is type-checked; trigger\_event has no allowlist.
  * Changes to code or trigger settings and activation attempt a deployment. Deactivation by itself does not deploy.
