# Set agent file availability

> Let specific tasks send a file, or remove the file from them without deleting it.

Removing a file from a task is not the same as deleting it:

| This endpoint with `enabled: false` | The tasks you list stop sending the file. The file stays in the account and in every other task, and you can turn it back on with `enabled: true`. |
| [Delete](/docs/en/api/agent-files/delete-agent-file) | The file is gone for every agent. There is no undo. |

* `workflow_ids` takes task IDs, from 1 to 100. Duplicates are ignored.
* To remove a file from a whole agent, send every task ID of that agent. This is what **Don't use for this agent** does in the app.
* Other files and other tasks are not changed.
* If the file or any task is not in this account, the API returns 404 and changes nothing. The message lists the task IDs it could not find.
